Who I am

I'm Veronica Kyriacou, a BACP registered psychotherapist (registration no. 00969337). I'm responsible for the personal information you share with me. You can contact me at veronicatherapy22@hotmail.com.

What I collect

• Your name and contact details, such as your phone number and email address.
• Anything you choose to tell me in messages, emails or calls.
• Brief notes from our sessions, kept to support your therapy.
• Payment records needed for accounting.

How I use it

I use your information only to arrange and provide therapy, to keep in touch with you about sessions, and to meet my professional and legal obligations. I never sell your information or use it for marketing.

Confidentiality

What you share in therapy stays between us. As set out in the BACP Ethical Framework, there are a small number of exceptions, such as a serious risk of harm to you or someone else, or where the law requires disclosure. I'll explain these clearly before we begin.

Services I use

We may communicate through WhatsApp, email and a video or voice call platform. These providers process data under their own privacy policies. This website does not use cookies or analytics.

How long I keep it

I keep records only for as long as needed to provide therapy and to meet professional, insurance and legal requirements. After that they are securely deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you, or object to how it's used. Just email me. If you're unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can also contact the data protection authority in your country. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
